Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride
Blackjack is a game that most definitely reminds me a wild ride. It’s a game that starts slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are striking. As with the popular fair experience, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. Of course you have to be a bettor that is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is awash with them.
If you like the tiny coaster, one that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a bigger bet, then jump on for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a thrilling ride … your head in the clouds. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
